All the fun of the fair

A funfair - a small to medium sized traveling show, contains a mixture of attractions which can be divided into the categories of adult, teenager and child, but why not to use it for a photo shoot. :) If you really want it to happen, nothing is going to stop you. A few days before planned shoot I went to Roundwood Park to check the location and ask for the permission for shooting. Fun fair was easy to find as the noise, colourful lights and terrible music were impossible to miss. Got there and fell in love with variety and colours of that place.

Luckily I managed to get the permission for shooting so couldn't do anything else apart from getting everything ready for the shoot. When I think fun fair the first suitable style which comes to my mind is bohemian. But using the various parts of the fair, including crazy carousels, decided to do 5 different looks. I had the pleasure to work with a couple of models ( Scarlett and Gleison), both from Carpe Diem - model agency  www.carpe-diem-models.com

Prepping spot

The looks I prepared were:

Haunted house - The ghost of the girlfriend
Haunted house - Interview with the vampires
Tea Cups Carousel - Alice in the Wonderland
Between Caravans - Gypsies
In the park - Bohemian

The sun was shining, was getting hotter and hotter and we were hoping to finish before opening. As we had a lot of fun, and wanted to try different things, didn't finish on time and kids with parents started coming in. What was even worse the terrible music, inherent part of the show, started going on as well.

As none of us could hear own thoughts, I decided to find some interesting spot in the park, where the fun fair was set up. And found a really green pleasant corner.

After such a lovely colourful day, there is only one conclusion, styling is just fun. :)
